Theme: The Sound That Found Me
The sound that found me this week came from my keyboard — the steady clicks I hear whenever I’m in work mode at home. The weight of my fingers on the keys wakes the lazy, unmotivated, procrastinating side of me, but it also soothes and steadies me: a reminder that working hard helps me afford my needs and some wants. Sometimes it warns me that if I don’t put in the effort I’ll be left with almost nothing. Mostly, it calls me back to myself to pause when needed, but never stop.
