I urge you to spare us, not because we are perfect, but because we have the potential to be better. Yes, we have waged wars, destroyed nature and let greed and hatred divide us. We have also so sad with the recent massive earthquake that ransacked our neigbouring countries - Myanmar and Thailand. We have also created art, discovered the secrets of the universe, and shown compassion beyond our own survival.
We are not defined by our worst moments, but by our ability to learn and change. If you erase us now, you will end a story still being written—a story of a species struggling to rise above its flaws.
Give us the time and we may yet become something greater. Judge us not only by our failures, but by our capacity for greater growth.
Let humanity continue.
