planned a picnic, showed up with a bag that collapsed before the sandwiches did
thought i was being clever buying a cheap collapsible basket online. looked great in the photos. in real life it couldn't hold its own shape with anything actually inside it, the handles were basically decorative, and by the time we got to the park it looked like it had given up on life
the whole point of a picnic basket is that it makes you feel like you have your life together. this did the opposite
i don't need anything fancy but i do need it to actually hold a few bottles, some food and not fold in on itself the moment i pick it up. collapsible because storage is tight and i'm not buying something that lives in my car year round
has anyone found one that collapses flat without falling apart when it's actually being used and doesn't look sad doing it
