Metal cutting bandsaw won’t cut straight.
Hi guys.
Picked this bandsaw up the other week and haven’t had the time to play around with it. I’ve had plenty of horizontal saws in my time but this one is giving me a real headache.
The saw it’s self is a SIP 9” inch I think.
The saw will not cut straight. First things first.
I’ve replaced the blade
Made sure both of the guides are square to the table (with the blade).
The issue I’m facing is the actual movement of the saw/the pivot is not square to the bed. I’ve clamped a square into the vice and when you run the saw up and down it does not stay square (I’ll add a video.).
Is there a way to shim these saw to get them square or did I pick up a lemon.
Any help would be great.
