Camping Recommendations North of Ventura?

Hello! I lucked out and got a last minute camping spot on channel islands this weekend. I leave Saturday morning on the Ferry from Ventura, but I am driving down Friday afternoon from Santa Cruz and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on camping spots between Santa Cruz and Ventura to help break up the drive?
