What is the strongest metal I can combine with a high-karat rose gold to drastically increase its tensile/compressive strength
Looking for a strong gold alloy with a low melting point
I’ve tried looking for something to make rose gold jewelry more durable, but every metal I find seems to come back with an extremely high melting point.
Iron, titanium, chromium, platinum, all have melting points above 2200 degrees Fahrenheit.
As you probably already know, this is well above the standard kiln maximum temperature.
I was looking for something stronger than say, nickel for example, and I want it to be ideal for a strong gold alloy, and able to chemically bond with the gold.
