How would you have "fixed" Brave New World?
I have been thinking about this a lot after seeing trailers and posters that clearly feature Steve Rogers as a main guy, while new Cap is in the background.
Obviously, the relative failure of BNW was partly responsible for this. For many reasons, the movie didn't work. I actually think that one of the biggest problems with that film is that nothing changes. No plot point or character is meaningfully changed after the conclusion of the movie. It is a film of no real consequence.
It's part of the reason that Spider Man 1-3 all work. Every movie leaves us with a major change in the life of the main cast. BNW does not.
