I am a man, and one thing I feel every day is that I’m always expected to be strong, even when I’m broken inside. We’re taught that showing emotions is weakness, so we end up carrying pressure, responsibilities, and failures all on our own. If women could feel for just one day what it’s like to handle everything without asking for help, they might understand how much exhaustion hides behind our silence. They would realize that a man’s silence isn’t indifference — it’s survival. And if we truly felt each other’s burdens, maybe we’d place fewer expectations on one another and show more compassion.
