Gearbox Sports is a performance equipment company focused on pickleball, racquetball, squash and paddle sports.
I founded Gearbox in 2007 after years working with advanced composite materials and wanting to challenge the limitations of traditional racquet and paddle construction. That led us to develop our patented Solid Span Technology (SST), and we’ve continued building our products around the idea that performance starts with what’s happening inside the equipment, not just what you can see on the surface.
For nearly 20 years, the team and I have had the opportunity to take Gearbox from its roots in racquetball into pickleball and other paddle sports, while staying deeply involved in product development, engineering and testing.
Today, Gearbox works with professional athletes, tours, clubs and players at every level. We’re always exploring new areas of paddle technology, including our latest developments with the Pressure X.
