What's your strategy when the opponent has better hands…

What's your strategy when the opponent has better hands but keeps giving you attackable balls?

I've noticed I struggle playing against people who hit a high percentage of "bad" shots but have great hands. It totally throws off my game because I start second-guessing every attackable ball.

Imagine a 5.0 playing someone with 4.0 dinks and 6.0 hands. This is infinitely more frustrating than playing against 5.0 dinks + 6.0 hands, because in the former case you are continuously getting fed opportunities you can't convert, while in the latter you're usually seeing high quality shots you aren't naturally inclined to attack.

In-game, how do you handle this, from both a strategic and mental perspective? I've tried to play less aggressively but it quickly turns into a battle of attrition that I am not built for because there's no clear win condition. It's not like you can easily hit a passing dink, and it's really game over if they can hit slow, soft dinks so that they have time to get in position to counter even if the dinks are ostensibly high.

Drilling-wise, the only thing I can think of is to play a dinking minigame with no speedups to force you to hit more dinks where you would otherwise attack.
