Tournament reported multiple 11–0 losses to DUPR after I couldn’t attend—is this normal?

I registered for the 3.5 men’s singles division at the Selkirk–themed We the People tournament in Arvada, Colorado. Unfortunately, an injury was flaring up and I wasn’t able to attend.

I completely understand receiving forfeits in the tournament standings. My concern is that, instead of removing me and adjusting the round robin, the tournament entered every scheduled match as an 11–0 loss and submitted all of them to DUPR—even though none of those matches were actually played.

These results dropped my singles rating from around 3.5 to approximately 2.9 and brought my reliability score to 100%. My profile now reflects several recent blowout losses that never occurred, which could make it much harder for future results to correct my rating.

Is this standard practice for a tournament no-show? I understand recording forfeits for bracket purposes, but should unplayed matches really be submitted to DUPR as completed 11–0 games?

I’ve already disputed the results through DUPR and contacted the tournament staff, so I’m hoping it gets resolved. I’m mainly curious whether anyone else has experienced this and how it was handled.
