I still can’t understand why they skipped the whole Kree war in The Marvels.
*Captain Marvel* wasn’t the best movie, but it laid the groundwork for her arc perfectly. She had an enemy, her people to save, a final boss, and everything was set up. There were so many opportunities to show her character growth and how badass she is during a difficult war.
But they skipped all of that and went in a completely different direction. It ended up becoming one of Marvel’s biggest box office flops.
