"The Sound That Found Me"
I heard the gentle meow of a cat, like it was whispering to me while it was circling around my feet. As I was in the kitchen preparing my food. The cat was super hungry, probably! The meows meant "Hey, feed me first, I'm starving. It clicked in my head that they're just like us, they get hungry too. It soothed me! The cat melted my heart, and It warmed me up, feeling like I had company in the kitchen, even if it was just a cat . At the same time, it called me back to myself, reminded me it's okay to slow down and enjoy simple things, like bonding with pets.
