Feedback on the rebuilt Walt Disney Resource
Mods: I asked if this post would be allowed and did not get a response disallowing it, so I will go ahead. It is not a commercial site and I don’t make any money from ads. I am trying to build a useful resource for the fans. If not allowed please remove it.
I recently finished rebuilding a website I originally launched in 1999 called The Walt Disney Resource. Until last month, the last time I had updated its movie and television listings was in 2012.
The site has been around for more than 25 years and originally cataloged about 1,050 Disney releases, but I stepped away from web design for a long time. This year I got back into it and decided it was finally time to bring the site up to date.
Did any of you ever visit the Walt Disney Resource before 2006? And have you had a chance to see the new version?
The original site was mainly a collection of theatrical films, television shows, and Disney Channel Original Movies. The rebuilt version now catalogs more than 2,700 releases and also includes animated shorts, Disney+ original movies and shows, video games, documentaries, and live productions such as park shows and parades, stage musicals, and Disney on Ice productions.
The updated site includes title details, ratings, runtimes, genres, studios, awards, descriptions, outside information links, a Disney history timeline, curated recommendations, and a weighted, random title picker.
I would especially love to hear from anyone who remembers the old site, but I’m also curious what people think of the rebuilt version and whether there is anything important I may have missed. What features would you like to see added? I am thinking about adding personal, sharable lists of favorites. Would you use a feature like that? What do you think of the filter and search options? Are there any other features you would like to see?

Feedback is welcome, especially if anyone notices a missing title or factual correction.
