Hi, me and my wife live in Massachusetts and we will be driving up to Acadia National Park for 4 full days of camping in the first week of October. So we will have our car to store stuff and bring everything we need. My question is related to gear, I’m from Mexico and used to go camping down there but this is my first time going camping up here so I would like help with: 1. Gear I have no gear, so I need to buy some stuff. I already have in my shopping cart some camping meals, headlamps, hiking shoes, first aid kit and knife. But would love to get some suggestions on what other things I should buy to be ready. I’m not looking into spending a ton of money but would like to def be prepared, we will borrow a friend’s tent. I will prob have to buy some chairs and maybe a small table, most likely a little camping stove. 2. Tips Maybe some peps here have already gone to this park so what are some stuff to keep in mind for a newbie and things to be aware of. 3. Hiking We plan on hike around the park for sure, so any recommendations on which trails to prioritize or “must” see I would appreciate.
