brand new day fresh new swing
brand new day is the shot of energy spider man needed
peter feels lighter but not hollow the weight of everything is still there just handled differently and that works
the new cast actually grows on you fast they are not mj and ned and they are not trying to be which is the right call
the villain is not some world ending threat just a guy with a believable grudge and that makes him scarier in a grounded way
action scenes are beautifully choreographed you can actually follow every punch and swing which is rare these days
the humor lands more often than it misses and the emotional beats hit when they need to
that ending sets up something genuinely interesting without feeling like a cheap tease
it is not perfect but it feels fresh and that is more than i expected
spider man is back
