Here's my Entry
#HeartOverReceipts

1. Have you ever given something valuable?
Yes, I once gave a personalized gift — a watch and a handwritten letter. It wasn’t just expensive, it had emotional value because I saved money and time to make it special. It represented my effort and feelings.

2. If the relationship ended, would you want it back? Why?
No, I wouldn’t take it back.
When I give something with love, I mean it as theirs forever. Taking it back would feel like I’m undoing my own feelings. Even if it has value, the moment attached to it matters more.

3. Gifts in relationships: love, investment, or one-time gift?
For me, gifts are love, not an investment.
I don’t expect anything in return. When I give something, I truly mean “it’s yours to keep,” no matter what happens later.

4. Are there conditions where you would take it back?
Honestly, very rare. Maybe only if the gift was something extremely expensive and the relationship ended in a very unfair or disrespectful way. Even then, I’d think twice.

5. Your general stand on taking back gifts?
It depends on the situation, but mostly I think it’s better to let it go.
It depends more on how things ended rather than the value or time. If the ending was toxic or dishonest, it might feel fair. Otherwise, it’s better to move on with dignity.

6. If you had to return a gift, how would you feel?
I would feel a bit hurt and annoyed.
It would feel like the relationship is being reduced to transactions.
It would be easier to let go if it was returned respectfully without drama.
