**Help identifying an obscure Brazilian Grow puzzle from the 1990s**
Hi everyone! I'm trying to identify a very obscure line of puzzles made by Grow, a Brazilian toy company, and I'm hoping someone here might recognize them.
The line was called “Play Puzzle” (Grow used the word Puzzle, rather than “quebra-cabeça” on the product), and the puzzles were sold in Brazil roughly between 1993 and 2000.
What makes them unusual is the packaging: they came in a cardboard cylindrical tube, with a thin yellow plastic lid. The lid itself had a puzzle-piece pattern/embossing.
I'm looking for photographs, advertisements, catalogs, scans, or even someone's childhood memory of these puzzles.
Some of the designs/models I'm trying to document include:
The Lion King (1994) Pocahontas (1995) The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996) Hercules (1997) Barbie (1998) A Bug's Life (1998) Mulan (1998) Rugrats (1999)
I have already found a few pieces of evidence that this product line existed, including references to individual models and some old Brazilian toy-industry material, but actual photographs of the original Play Puzzle packaging are incredibly difficult to find.
I've also contacted Grow directly, and they told me they would look through their old records again.
I'm especially interested in:
📸 Photos of the box/tube 📖 Old Grow catalogs 📰 Magazine advertisements from the 1990s 🧸 Toy-store catalogs or Christmas catalogs 🧩 Photos of the assembled puzzles or loose pieces 📦 Anyone who still owns one, even without the original packaging
If anyone recognizes these, has one in their collection, or knows where Brazilian toy catalogs from the 1990s are archived, I would be incredibly grateful for any leads.
Even a tiny photograph or a mention in an old catalog could help solve this mystery!
