Leopardi startles.
βWhat creature is that?β
βA robot vacuum cleaner, a small mechanical servant that roams on its own and gathers dust like an exceptionally diligent broom.β
Then a gentle voice speaks from nowhere.
Leopardi freezes.
βWho spoke? Who is here?β
βThatβs Alexa! a voice inside a little device. She answers questions, plays music and helps youβ¦ even though she has no body.β
Leopardi sits, overwhelmed but enchanted.
βYour age,β he whispers, βis a garden of wonders.β

Ahahahaha, so happy you liked it! πsometimes certain ideas just pop into my mindβ¦ poor Leopardi π he certainly didnβt ask for any of this. One minute heβs contemplating "The Infinite', one of his poems and the next heβs in my living room dodging robot vacuums and mysterious voices giving weather updates. π€£
