Just re-watched the Infinity Saga. I always wonderer why the Aether or the Reality Stone is fluid like, any idea why?
In the MCU, I kinda like how they simplified various macguffins or powerful items in the comics to become the Infinity Stones, like how they made the Tesseract to be the Space Stone, or the Eye of Agamotto to be the Time Stone, Loki's Scepter from Thanos to be the Mind Stone which will eventually be the Solar Jewel in Vision's forehead which in the comics is not the Mind Stone. It made things simpler, more connected and it made perfect sense in the context of those items powers like it was always meant to be like that even though it is not the comics.
Though the Orb in Guardians is an original idea straight-forward it contains the Power Stone, but the Aether always fascinated me it is an original concept in the MCU to be the Reality Stone, but I never fully understood why it is fluid unlike the other stones and kinda like has a life of its own. Any thoughts or theories?
