One of My Favorite Jazz Photos Ever
Miles Davis & John Coltrane (out of frame: Red Garland & “Philly” Joe Jones) @ Cafe Bohemia in New York on September 29th, 1956. Photographer: Unknown (If anybody knows, please update! I couldn’t find out in my research). One of the photos from this session was also infamously used as the LP cover of Miles’ ‘Round Midnight’. I just looove the lighting here and it’s been my iPhone background for months now!
