#Spooktober25 My biggest rational fear isn’t ghosts, darkness, or the unknown… it’s my own anger.
Most of the time, it sleeps inside me silent, harmless, pretending to be calm. But when it wakes up, it’s like a storm that doesn’t listen to reason. My voice changes, my thoughts blur, and for a few moments… I’m not even myself anymore.
It’s not the shouting or the breaking that scares me it’s the silence after. The guilt, the regret, the way I see the fear in others’ eyes and realize… I became the very thing I’m afraid of.
I don’t fear monsters under the bed. I fear the one that sometimes wakes up inside me. Because that monster wears my face.
