My biggest rational fear isn’t ghosts, darkness, or the unknown… it’s my own anger.

Most of the time, it sleeps inside me silent, harmless, pretending to be calm. But when it wakes up, it’s like a storm that doesn’t listen to reason. My voice changes, my thoughts blur, and for a few moments… I’m not even myself anymore.

It’s not the shouting or the breaking that scares me it’s the silence after. The guilt, the regret, the way I see the fear in others’ eyes and realize… I became the very thing I’m afraid of.

I don’t fear monsters under the bed. I fear the one that sometimes wakes up inside me.
Because that monster wears my face.

I don’t really fear lizards as much as I feel disgusted by them. The way they change color, crawl on walls, and suddenly appear out of nowhere just makes my skin crawl. Sometimes, when I turn on the light at night and spot one, my heart skips a beat. I know they don’t bite or harm humans, but their presence still makes me uneasy. I try to ignore them, but the moment I see one, my first instinct is always to keep my distance.

My rational fear is
Honestly, I tend to forget where I put things all the time 😂.
When I have too much on my plate or I'm stressed, my memory just stops working properly.
It’s like my brain goes, “Nope, we’re out of storage today!” 😅
I guess that’s a pretty rational fear too losing focus or forgetting things when life gets overwhelming.
