What are your favorite “small scale” Star Wars stories?
As a casual fan who’s only watched the 9 main movies, the first season of the Mandalorian(when it debuted) and played some Star Wars video games, one of the things I’ve really appreciated about Star Wars is how its universe can be used to tell any kind of story. It can tell multi-part epics with galaxy spanning impact or it can tell the story of a guy on a backwater planet trying to escape a clan he fucked over. Not many universes have layers deep enough that can facilitate multiple types of story scales.
I’ve been trying to get into the Star Wars extended universe lately (everything other than what I listed) and I would like to know what some good “small scale” stories are. Examples off of the top of my head is things like the first season of the Mandalorian or the game Star Wars Outlaws. Character driven stories that have good arcs and good writing.
