Is it LEE-uh or LAY-uh and Lan-DOW or Lan-DOH or BOTH?
I just watched an official 1979 (super-early) Teaser Trailer for "Empire".
It has no actual movie bits, only still photos of Ralph McQuarrie's concept art. (But the camera is zooming in and moving plus with fast cuts to make the Teaser Trailer "action-packed" ... that's how early the trailer is ... "Empire" was still in "concept phase".)
The announcer pronounced the names ... LEE-uh and Lan-DOW.
Is it LEE-uh or LAY-uh and Lan-DOW or Lan-DOH or BOTH?
(And also, don't other characters sometimes pronounce the names differently, too ... on screen in the movies?)
And does it even matter?
