Why this is the perfect portrayal of an older Ahsoka

A lot of people criticise the live action portrayal of Ahsoka because they think it doesn't really feel like her younger self because she's too cold or not emotional enough or whatever the case may be but these people miss the point. Ahsoka went through so much in her life.

She was only a Padawan during the Clone Wars and was sent to the deep end at just 14. After spending years fighting in a war as a kid, she ended up getting framed for something she didn't do and the Jedi Council, the closest thing she's had to a family, sentenced her to death. Imagine what that must have felt like for her. She ended up leaving the only home she had because of it.

Then, not long after she leaves everything gets turned upside down. The Order gets destroyed and she didn't really know what happened to people that was family to her such as Anakin and Obi-Wan. After all the pain she already went through, she then realised that the closest person she had ended up becoming one of the most evil people in the entire Galaxy and even tried to kill her.

I believe that Ahsoka blamed herself for everything that happened to Anakin and as a result, the Jedi. Yes, of course she didn't really do anything wrong, but in her eyes I feel like she believes if she never walked away from Anakin she could have stopped him turning to the dark side and perhaps saved the Order. It's easy to see how Ahsoka could feel a lot of guilt over this even though nothing was her fault and she had every right to leave.

With all this in mind, why are people are surprised that she comes off as cold, stiff and perhaps even numb? Ahsoka now carries with her a lot of wisdom but also a lot of pain and trauma. Trauma affects people and it certainly affected Ahsoka so it makes perfect sense why she's the way she is and I personally love what they did with her character.
