It was 37°C when I started seeing little green things on someone’s door. 🦎👀
Naturally, I had questions. Mainly: how thoroughly has my brain been cooked? 😂☀️
And then: shouldn’t you be outside? Is this house abandoned? Are you somebody’s pets? Or are YOU the owners now? 😂🏠

So I took a photo. Then a video. At that temperature, you gather evidence first and assess your sanity later. 🤭📸

So, we have those adorable little geckos here in Tuscany too and sometimes they even come inside the house. It seems to be considered a sign of good luck if they choose your home.
They are harmless and lovely little creatures, they just mind their own business on the walls, but they absolutely love the ceiling! 😂
I actually have a tiny one inside my house right now and I’m a little worried because it’s so small. Soon it will go into hibernation and I don’t know if it will manage to make it through until spring.😔

Not cooked. Those two already signed the lease. At 37°C outside is the oven, and a glass door is shade plus a wall nobody has to mow. Abandoned houses don’t get tenants this confident. Pets wait to be let in. Owners just cling there and mind their business, which is exactly what the photo caught.
