It was scorching hot today!
To fight the heat, I have prepared some coffee ice cubes or what I call black ice. Placed them on a tumbler, and added some warm sweetened coffee (or you can just add some warm sugared water).
It's a refreshing treat plus I got a my afternoon dose of cafeine.

How Do You Beat The Extreme Heat?

Some of my Facebook friends are complaining about the 39 degrees Celsius heat index in their area. I always remind them that they are still fortunate because we've been enduring no less than 42 degrees in the past few weeks. This week, we are enduring no less than 44 degrees heat index!
How do we deal with this extremely high heat index without air conditioning? The second photo shows one of my ideas.
