Blended families are becoming the new "normal" but that doesn't mean they are easy. We are talking about two different worlds, two different sets of rules, and two different histories trying to live under one roof. Some people believe it’s a beautiful way to get a second chance at love and family. Others think it’s a recipe for disaster that creates "hell" for the kids and "chaos" for the adults. This activity is about your honest opinion. Is a blended family a dream worth chasing, or is it a risk that’s just too high?
The Task: Take Your Stand ( Copy the questions & answer )
Tell us exactly where you stand on the idea of a blended family. Are you for it or against it?
1. Do you agree or disagree with the concept of blending families? (Is it a good idea or too complicated?).
2. If you had to blend a family, what would be your absolute dealbreaker?
3. Do you think the parents or the children have the harder time adjusting to the "new" family?
4. Is love enough to make a blended family work, or do you need strict rules to keep the peace?
5. Is it ever okay for a step-parent to discipline a step-child, or should that only be for the biological parent?
The Attachment: The "Harmony Circle" (Venn Diagram)
To show how two families become one, you’re going to draw a Venn Diagram.
Draw & Color the whole shape: Harmony Family = YELLOW while Hell Family = ORANGE
1. Draw two large circles that overlap in the middle.
2. Label the left circle " Harmony Family " and the right circle " Hell Family "
3. In the " Harmony Family " circle, write one trait ( ex: Late nights ).
4. In the " Hell Family " circle, write a different trait ( ex: Strict rules ).
5. The Magic Spot ( GREEN color ): In the middle where the circles overlap, write the one thing that must be shared for a blended family to succeed ( ex: Respect, Patience, or Good Food ).
6. At the bottom, write

2. DEDUCTIONS
· 30k - Failure to include any or all of the ff: correct tag #BlendedFamily #HarmonyOrHell and mentions:
· 30k - Failure to follow the post format
· 30k-100k – Failure to explain in complete thought
· 100k - Failure to follow the required correct attachment ( minor mistakes = deductions only )
3. ALL deductions from rule-breakers will be split evenly among participants who followed every rule.
In cases where the deductions are significantly larger and the participants who followed the rules do not exceed half of the capped entries, a portion of the deduction will be allocated to standout entries. Meanwhile, those who complied with the rules will also receive their share.
