I made my childhood best friend a roller skate birthday cake!
I’ve had the same best friend for 44 years. One of our shared lifelong loves is roller skating. Today was her 49th birthday so I had her over for dinner and surprised her with this cake, served on roller skate paper plates I found at Dollarama. I used a Wilton pan that I rented from Bulk Barn. Cake is rainbow chip (mix) and the icing is homemade buttercream. I haven’t made a cake like this in 15 years or so, it was so much fun!
