Best screw extractor for a small stripped machine screw?
I rounded the head on an M4 socket screw that holds a guard on an older benchtop mill. The screw isn’t rusted or seized, but there’s very little room around it, so I’d really like to avoid drilling it out and making the existing hole larger. For anyone who has dealt with small rounded socket-head screws before, what extractor style or method actually worked well for you without damaging the surrounding area?
