#YogaFrom0 Week 12 The Sixth Chakra: Ajna (part 1) Located at the center of the brain, a balanced Ajna chakra helps us feel deeply connected to ourselves and the world. 🧘 Find a comfortable seated position on a cushion, with your spine long and tall. (If you're sitting on a chair, what matters most is keeping your spine long and active, your feet grounded, and your shoulders relaxed.) 🧘 Take 2 deep breaths (in through the nose, out through the mouth) to release tension. 🧘 Using the index and middle fingers of your right hand, gently massage the point between your eyebrows in small circles 🧘 Close your right nostril with your thumb and inhale through the left nostril, counting mentally to 4. Close both nostrils, hold your breath briefly and then exhale through the right nostril. Inhale through the right nostril, bringing your inner gaze upward. Briefly hold your breath while focusing your gaze on the point and finally exhale through the left nostril. 🧘 Repeat 3 times. 🧘 Drop your hands, keep eyes closed and rest your gaze at the Third Eye. 🧘Bring your hands to heart center. Bow your head slightly toward your hands, honoring your inner wisdom, intuition and clarity.
