Tire recommendations

I have a Silverado 2500HD, currently running Wildpeak AT4 tires. 265/70R18 load range E. I'm not overly impressed with the off road performance and they wear terribly. I have a lot of sugar sand and wet clay/loam around here but most of my miles are out on the highway. Can I get some recommendations before I drop $1500 on new tires?!
