Dealing with dried trail mud caked under the pedals after summer runs
After hit local trail rides on summer weekends, my boots bring in a ton of wet clay that dries into rock-hard crust around the pedal area. I tried scraping it out with a wire brush and hosing the rubber down, but the fine red dirt settles into the deep texture and ends up right back under the clutch when it dries. I'm trying to decide if deeper perimeter channels or smooth, easy-wipe textures matter more for getting mud out quickly. those who frequently wheel in sloppy terrain, does side wall height actually keep heavy mud contained, or does a flatter design make hosing it clean easier? #sport source
