I really hope Sadie Sink isn’t playing Jean Grey in BND
I hope she’s playing Firestar instead. Firestar would make perfect sense given her history with Spider-Man and she’s a character that‘s within the same age range as him so it would be even more perfect. Though I know that she’s just gonna be Jean Grey in the long run and I’m not really a huge fan of that. The bloated with the additions of Punisher and we don’t need another non-Spider-Man character to be in a Spider-Man movie. That and at least Punisher and Hulk have had multiple occasions of having crossed over with Spider-Man in the comics (Punisher even started off as a Spider-Man villain) outside of crossing over with other X-Men members, Jean has had no history with Spider-Man whatsoever. It also would just feel really weird and random to start off the X-Men without the excuse of Multiverse in a freaking Spider-Man movie. It would be a repeat of my issue with Black Panther Wakanda Forever where they shoehorned Namor into that movie rather than developing his own movie and giving him a proper chance to shine (so at least with that, Namor had a history with Black Panther) That and it’s just throwing a bone to all the people who despise the Fox X-Men films.
