>!In Deadpool & Wolverine, we see Chris Evans' Human Torch go up against and quickly get defeated by Pyro. If instead it was the Johnny Storm from First Steps, do you think he would have been so easily depowered? As it is, we'd seen that Johnny actually pull a similar move of fire absorption in a clip set showing off the team's heroics. So I wonder if he'd have been able to counter or avoid that outcome.!<
I understand that what happened in the film was for the comedic effects rendered, this is more of a exploratory conversation about how the hero and villain noted would interact in a similar confrontation. I.e., if the First Steps version of Johnny confronted Pyro, how would that play out differently?
