#UnseenScar

When I was a kid, my closest female friend passed away, and I didn't even get to see her one last time because of he parent's decision. Everything happened so suddenly one day she was there, and the next, she was gone, leaving me confused and heartbroken. Even now, I keep wondering if it was really suicide or if there was another reason, and these questions often return to my mind. Sometimes it still bothers me deeply, especially when I think about her and the moments we shared. Part of me is scared of losing someone important suddenly again, because we were like siblings who were always together and supported each other. Her passing feels like a big part of my childhood was lost too, and I still catch myself thinking about the "what ifs" and wishing things could have been different. Despite the pain, I try my best to move forward every day, carrying the memory of our friendship with me. I've learned to value the people around me while they are still here and to express love and care while there's still a chance. I've also become more open to listening to friends, especially when they are going through challenges, which has helped me grow emotionally. Little by little, I've accepted that some questions in life may never be answered, but I can still keep going and use her memory as a source of strength rather than just sadness.

It’s so brave of you to turn that fear of sudden loss into a reason to love and listen to the people around you even more intentionally. You are carrying her memory in the most beautiful way possible by being the kind of supportive soul you both were for each other.
