I tried Hawaiian Punch on ice cream

So, not many people may know this, but Hawaiian Punch actually started out as an ice cream topping. Somewhere along the line, people figured out that if they watered it down, it made a pretty decent beverage, and that's what it's sold as today. I attempted to heat it to thicken it up, but it didn't really work. I started with over a cup and heated it in a saucepan to try to reduce it, but it didn't thicken very much at all. Overall, it tasted ok, but not great, but next time I have some, I might try making a float instead. That might actually be better.
