after two years
I wanted to show where I’m at now after collecting for 2 years. As you can see, it’s all micros and modestly priced independent brands (mostly because I’m a glorified bureaucrat and don’t see dropping 30k on a watch any time soon).
Still no divers and I’m ok with that. Just not my thing I think.
I think my goal in the collection is to slowly but surely replace most of these with more interesting watches that have the same general vibe as the ones that came before it.
I think the only one I’m not open to getting rid of as all is the Dornblueth but everything else is subject to upgrading. I’ve been trying to keep to a one in and one out policy, but I’m a lot better at buying watches than selling them so most of what I’ve replaced is just in their boxes for whenever I get around to trying to dump them on eBay.
Not sure what’s next, or what to replace next. I think the pilot in the bottom left gets by far the least wear so probably it.
