I hope the MCU's X-Men showcase some "bad" mutations
I am really excited for X-Men. I think that the introduction of these characters can open up a whole new world of stories for the MCU. But I do hope that they don't showcase mutations as all good.
I think one of the most interesting pars of the X-Men comics is how diverse the mutations are. Sure, you have Awesome mutations like Telekinesis and controlling the weather but alot of mutants have awful powers that would make there lives infintely harder. For every cool power like wolverines you have 100 other mutants that just have extra limbs or eyes, no bones, one just has slugs for guts, another one is a literal bird with hallow bones and all. Just doesn't seem like a fun existence and i think that is ripe for storytelling.
I hope that the MCU leans into this a little bit, I think it would be interesting to see the dynamic of mutants with cool powers and others with awful ones. Do you think the MCU will showcase some of these mutants?
