For me, cheating is a complete deal breaker. Trust is the foundation of any relationship, and once it is broken, it can never return to the same purity. I believe loyalty is a choice, not a mistake. If someone cheats, it means they made a conscious decision to betray the relationship. I respect myself too much to stay where I am not valued. Even a single act of infidelity would change how I see that person forever. Emotional cheating hurts just as much as physical cheating because both involve dishonesty. If someone truly loves you, they will protect your heart, not risk losing you. Repeated cheating or secret conversations would only prove a lack of character. I believe forgiveness is powerful, but not when it destroys your self-respect. A relationship without trust becomes full of doubt, anxiety, and pain. For my peace of mind and dignity, I would walk away and never look back.
