Safe to power a monitor through a timed outlet?
My monitor does an annoying static noise, similar to the coil while I faced in my laptop, I figured if I unplug the monitor from the outlet it stops, so why not use the timed outlets to stop it at night.
I found an outlet up to 2300 W, supposedly 10A, is it safe to use it for the monitor? I have never used a timed outlet and I do not know how safe they are.
