WPBL books & resources for beginners?
I'm so excited for the WPBL and it's inspired me to finally get into baseball. I've always had a passing interest and watched a little bit casually as a kid, but I felt intimidated by the rules and strategies, so I never took the time to learn them. I'm hoping to learn the rules and history. Does anyone have any recommendations for getting started? I'm especially interested in the history of women's baseball, so I'm hunting down any recommendations I can find for that, but I'd also appreciate any general resources on learning the game. Doesn't even need to be American, I'd also love to learn about other leagues.
So far I've had Girls of Summer by Lois Brown recommended to me for history, and Pure Baseball by Keith Hernandez for rules/strategy, but I'm not sure if the latter is beginner friendly or if there are better resources out there.
