Preamble: I'm single, but when I was young I had two relationships and lived with both of them. The first was while I was finishing my degree at university (she was already graduated and working). The second was after I had graduated and was working, and she was still studying at university. I think I'm qualified to participate, hahaha.
Marrying me would...
I always tried to be conciliatory with both of them and tried to contribute positively to their lives. Living together isn't easy; there are many challenges. With the first, it was easier; she was very much a homebody, and I helped her with the housework. With the second, it was a constant struggle; she didn't know how to cook, much less clean, but we managed.
My Daily Life: Peacemaker, Affectionate, and Handy
Fuel of Love:
With my first girlfriend, I listened to her a lot and supported her daily. She was a lawyer, but she had two jobs: during the day she taught at a school, and in the evening she worked as a lawyer. I would always pick her up from her small office and comfort her by listening to her story daily.
With my second girlfriend, besides being her partner, I was also her (unofficial) academic tutor. She was studying the same degree I was, systems engineering, so almost every day after dinner, without her even having to ask, I would help her study and with her homework.
Fight Fix:
With my first girlfriend, I would appease her with a jar of Nutella (chocolate milk). It always worked.
With my second girlfriend, since she didn't like to cook, we would fight a lot when it was her turn and she didn't prepare anything. I would make up by ordering a pizza or Chinese food.
Must-Have: For me, a fundamental element of my partner is that they are loving and affectionate; other problems can be discussed and resolved, but if those two elements are not present, I would hardly get involved in a relationship with someone.
