How did Thanos' personality change so much in just 5 years?
In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 and Endgame, Thanos seemed to be that classic villain who was extremely aggressive, cruel, and authoritarian. But in Infinity War, he's calm the whole time, even kind of "zen."(Like, the guy was calmly chatting with Doctor Strange, knowing he was about to fight him to the death). That time frame doesn't seem long enough for such a big personality change, considering Thanos is probably at least hundreds of years old.
