Current Spot is out of beta — live electricity prices & Tibber Pulse consumption on your WearOS watch
A few months ago I posted here about my beta — thanks to everyone who tested and gave feedback! Current Spot is now officially released on Google Play.
What's new since the beta:
* Drag-to-explore price chart — slide through the 24h price curve and see exact values
* Average price per kWh card — see what you're actually paying today
* Watch face complications — current price, price level, cheapest time, right on your watch face
* Quick-access Tile for instant price checks
* Improved stability and overnight data refresh
What it does:
* Real-time spot prices (hourly + 15-min intervals) at a glance
* Live power consumption from your Tibber Pulse directly on your watch (~3s updates)
* 24h price chart with visual cheapest/most expensive periods
* "Cheapest Time" — tells you the best window to run heavy appliances
* Supports English, German, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish
How it works:
A companion app on your phone connects to the Tibber API and relays live data to your watch over Bluetooth. All data stays local on your devices — no third-party servers involved.
Requirements:
* Android phone + WearOS watch (Galaxy Watch, Pixel Watch, etc.)
* Tibber account (Pulse needed for live consumption — prices work without it)
