Where every confirmed “Doomsday hero” might’ve been when Tony Stark became Ironman in 2008..
I tried to base this off of what has been confirmed in the MCU films, as well as obvious details, information from the MCU Wiki, official MCU timeline books, and encyclopedias. If you think any of these are incorrect, I’d love to hear your take and be able to make the corrections.
Steve – It’s been confirmed and well known that he was still frozen in the Arctic after WWII.
Thor – Still in Asgard as the crown prince and warrior. Likely still arrogant and misguided.
Joaquin Torres (Falcon) – He was a kid when he first knew about Sam as Falcon and idolized him, and he’s already pretty young right now, so he’s likely just a young child around this time. He was born and raised in Miami, Florida.
Shuri (Black Panther) – Shuri, princess of Wakanda, would’ve also been a young child, and probably still developing Wakanda’s technology. “What if Kilmonger saved Tony Stark” gave us an alternate glimpse of Shuri during that time.
Sam Wilson (Captain America) Probably serving in the U.S. Air Force, and involved with the EXO-7 Falcon program.
Scott Lang (Ant-Man) – This would’ve likely been before his prison sentence. So, he would be a normal civilian living in San Francisco, working as an electrical engineer and happily married. Not sure if his daughter Cassie would have been born yet.
M'Baku – My guess is that M’Baku would’ve been a young warrior of the Jabari Tribe and not yet the leader.
Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier) – Bucky would still be under hydra’s control as an assassin, being used for covert missions and put under cryo sleep when not needed.
Shang-Chi – He likely would’ve been a teenager, around the time of his final training at the Ten Rings compound, the completion of his first assasination mission, and when he escaped his father to live in the United States.
Namor – Ruler of Talokan, still hidden from the surface world. He’s lived over 400 years at this point.
Yelena Belova – Yelena would’ve still been a Red Room Black Widow operative, and under Dreykov’s control.
John Walker (U.S. Agent) – After graduating from Custer’s Grove High School in Georgia, he likely would’ve married his high school sweetheart, Olivia, and then commissioned into the United States Army with his best friend, Lamar.
Loki – In Asgard with Thor and Odin, likely still fuming with jealously and resentment and in the process of scheming, coming up with his plan to takeover and become king.
Ava Starr (Ghost) – After the accident that killed her parents, she’d be living and dealing with her phasing condition under Bill Foster’s care, and soon to be used by SHIELD as a covert operative.
Alexei Shostakov (Red Guardian) – Likely still in Russia and serving his Prison sentence after being screwed over and betrayed by Dreykov.
Bob Reynolds (Sentry) – Still struggling with his mental health issues and living a troubled life.
It’s quite an interesting roster of characters, especially when you look at where most of them were at the beginning of Iron Man’s story (where the MCU started for the audience). The Thunderbolts especially have had a crazy journey. Some of these characters have gone through extremely tragic and low points in their lives, and it’s cool to see how they’ve developed into becoming the next heroes leading into Avengers: Doomsday. #video #movies source
