Help! Thumbprint cookie issues
I followed a recipe for thumbprint cookies with apricot jam. I think the jam led to too much moisture in the cookies because despite baking for longer than directed the cookie appears totally raw, no browning at all on the edges or bottom. I don’t know what I did wrong. I only put half a teaspoon of jam in each one and the balls of dough were around the size of a walnut. The dough seemed normal in terms of consistency prior to going in the oven.
