My first Automatic watch
This was my first automatic before me & my wife got into the rabbit hole of this hobby. I knew I’d appreciate the mechanics, but I didn’t expect to enjoy it this much. There’s something about knowing it’s powered by movement rather than a battery that makes it feel more alive on the wrist. My wife now gets triggered if a quartz doesn't hit the markers and her OCD just rightly supports this. I on the other-hand, don't mind either ,quartz & mechanical but enjoy a mechanical bit more. I’ve caught myself checking the time more often than I need to, just to watch the seconds hand sweep. May be her OCD is rubbing off on me too.
The dial really surprised me. In certain light it looks almost black, and then it shifts into this deep green with that textured pattern pulling you in.
Feels like a solid entry into mechanical watches. Pretty sure this won’t be the last one.
