Sleep mat damaged?

I bought this OEX Flux 2.0 sleep mat second hand and I’ve noticed that it deflates after blowing air into it. From my understanding it’s meant to have a one way valve so air shouldn’t come out.

I noticed it is missing the rubber bit in the middle of the valve, is this the problem?
